Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor ETP systems including collection tanks, neutralization tanks, aeration systems, clarifiers, filter presses, and sludge handling units.

- Perform routine checks of pumps, blowers, agitators, valves, pipelines, and dosing systems.

- Monitor and record pH, TDS, COD, BOD, suspended solids, flow rates, and other process parameters.

- Prepare and dose treatment chemicals as per SOP.

- Ensure treated water quality meets regulatory requirements.

- Handle sludge dewatering, storage, and disposal activities.

- Maintain daily logbooks, shift reports, and utility consumption records.

- Coordinate with QC and Production departments regarding effluent generation and treatment requirements.

- Identify abnormalities and report equipment breakdowns to maintenance teams.

- Follow EHS guidelines, PPE requirements, and statutory environmental regulations.

- Support audits conducted by Pollution Control Board, ISO, and internal teams.
