- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Attend and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules and records.
- Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Ensure proper functioning of utilities such as compressors, boilers, HVAC systems, generators, water systems, and electrical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and company policies.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA)
and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Prepare maintenance reports and equipment performance data.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and utility-related issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, maintenance software).
