Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who understands content, storytelling, and audience engagement. This role goes beyond basic video editing and requires someone who can transform raw footage into compelling content that captures attention, improves retention, and delivers a strong viewer experience.

The ideal candidate should have experience editing both short-form and long-form content and possess a strong understanding of pacing, visual communication, motion graphics, and audience psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Editing:
• Edit high-quality short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, podcast clips, educational content, and personal branding content.
• Edit long-form content, including YouTube videos, podcasts, founder stories, case studies, documentary-style content, and explainer videos.
• Create engaging hooks, improve pacing, and enhance overall storytelling.
• Deliver platform-optimised content focused on viewer engagement and retention.

Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling:
• Create modern text animations, visual callouts, graphic overlays, and motion graphics.
• Design visual explanations using charts, infographics, maps, screen recordings, and supporting visuals.
• Develop documentary-style sequences and explainer graphics where required.

Visual Research & Content Sourcing:
• Source relevant stock footage, visual references, screenshots, and supporting media.
• Conduct visual research to strengthen storytelling and improve content quality.




• Build visual context around scripts and narratives.

Sound Design:
• Perform audio balancing and cleanup.
• Add sound effects, transitions, and background music where appropriate.
• Use sound design to improve pacing, engagement, and viewer experience.

Required Skills:
