Job Description: A Mechanical Engineer in a power plant oversees the operation, maintenance, and reliability of heavy mechanical equipment like boilers, turbines, and pumps. - Equipment Maintenance: Lead preventive and predictive maintenance on rotating and static equipment (e.g., steam/gas turbines, heat exchangers, cooling towers, compressors). [1, 2, 3]

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
- Experience: Typically (3+) years in power plant operations or heavy industrial maintenance.
- Technical Proficiencies: Solid working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science. Familiarity with CMMS software, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring tools.
- Core Skills: Root Cause Analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and crisis management.
