Responsible for supporting finance operations through fixed asset management, audit support, journal review, monitoring pending GRNs and invoice-related payments, reviewing indirect expenses, and providing support services to the Senior Manager.
KRA: TASK / ACTIVITIES
- Reporting to Senior Manager and supporting day-to-day finance activities
- Managing Fixed Assets accounting, tracking, and related activities
- Supporting Internal Audit by providing required data, schedules, and documentation
- Reviewing journal entries to ensure accounting accuracy and completeness
- Following up and driving closure of long pending unpriced GRNs
- Monitoring and following up on payments awaiting invoices for timely closure
- Reviewing all indirect expenses and highlighting discrepancies, if any
- Providing other support services as required for finance operations
KPI: PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Timely completion of Fixed Assets related activities
- Timely support provided for Internal Audit requirements
- Accuracy and completeness of journal reviews
- Reduction in pending unpriced GRNs through regular follow-up
- Timely closure of payments awaiting invoices
- Completion of indirect expense reviews within timelines
- Responsiveness and support provided for operational requirements
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting
- Understanding of journal review processes
- Knowledge of GRN and invoice processes
- Experience in expense review and reconciliations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Positive coordination and follow-up skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in Fixed Assets accounting and asset management processes
- Exposure to Internal Audit support and audit documentation requirements
- Working knowledge of GRN, Accounts Payable, and invoice management processes
- Experience in journal review and reconciliation activities
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics / similar platforms)
