To conduct feasibility study for enquiry.

Conduct the Process Audit & subsequent process improvement for existing products

Provide guidance to Production Team on cycle time reduction plan & actions

Program for all operation in 2D & CAM as well

Hands on experience in Master CAM, Solid Works

Plan & prove out for process capability for the individual station & line as well.

Purpose of the Job

Documentation for external & Internal Customer- Cycle Time, CPK

Support to existing customer complaint for process issues.

Execute action plan triggered from customer complaint.

NPD project planning along with CFT

Project programming & prove out

Should be selecting the tool selection for subsequent prove out

Main Interaction of the Role with:

Internal (Within PEL): Management Team, Staff members across stores, SSD, Production, Quality, Planning, Tool Room

External (Outside PEL): Customers, Vendors - Cutting Tool, Fixtures, spares

Skills & Behavioural attributes:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills





Hands on Machining knowledge for heavy duty castings, forge commodity

Should be process driven in nature.

Keen to induce systematic approach

Process knowledge, Presentation for customer requirements

Knowledge @ recent generation m/c

Knowledge to select the Machine & tools WRT quality & delivery WRT critical parameter

Knowledge of PPAP & SPC process

Feasibility Workout for machine RFQ,

Cycle time computation for m/cing

Capable to plan for material handling equipment

Knowledge of Fix. concepts design & DAP approval.

Knowledge of GD&T;, Capable to finalize design concepts

Knowledge of Quality std and continuous improvement

Knowledge to Prove out the Cp, CPK.

HMC & HBM is main experience , if he is having VTL Turn Mill is added advantage
