Job Description: A Store Manager for a Coal Washery in India oversees the entire inventory lifecycle—receiving, storing, and issuing materials—specifically focusing on technical spares, heavy machinery parts, and consumables required for coal beneficiation,, ensuring uninterrupted washery operations. This role requires managing the storage of critical spares, conducting audits to prevent inventory shortages, and maintaining safety standards in the warehouse. Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels of washery consumables (e.g., magnetite, heavy media) and critical maintenance spares for conveyor belts, crushers, and screens.
- Receiving & Inspection: Receiving, inspecting, and unloading heavy machinery parts and materials, ensuring proper documentation such as Material Received Reports (MRR).
- Issuing & Logistics: Managing the timely issuing of materials to maintenance teams and ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Management: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, utilizing techniques like First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and ensuring safety compliance for handling materials.




- Documentation & Reporting: Updating stock records and preparing regular inventory reports, typically using SAP-ERP or similar software.
- Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations in the warehouse to prevent accidents and damage to materials. Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Previous experience in a store or warehouse department within a mining, industrial, or coal washery environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Inventory Management Software (SAP-ERP) and MS Office.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of coal washery components, critical spares, and inventory control techniques.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle and move heavy items if necessary. Performance Indicators
