Job Description:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or related fields.
Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in packaging design, with a focus on box and wood packaging.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Material Knowledge: Solid understanding of box (corrugated, cardboard) and wood materials, their properties, and usage in packaging.

Location: Near Talegaon Dabhade in Pune

Job Responsibilities:
Lead Design Projects: Oversee the development of packaging designs for box and wood packaging projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
Material Selection & Innovation: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to select appropriate materials (wood, corrugated boxes, etc.) that meet quality, sustainability, and cost objectives.
Prototyping & Testing: Manage the design and production of prototypes, ensuring they meet structural and aesthetic requirements, including testing packaging durability.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their packaging needs and present design solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of designers,



guiding them through design challenges and encouraging professional growth.
Cost & Time Management: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting technical requirements and quality standards.
Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure all packaging designs comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, sales, and procurement teams to optimize design processes and ensure smooth production transitions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, new packaging technologies, and market demands to propose innovative packaging solutions.

Requirements:
Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading and managing a design team.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present design concepts and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for aesthetics, design precision, and structural integrity.

Preferred skills:
Experience in sustainable packaging design.
Knowledge of packaging regulations and compliance standards.
Experience working with manufacturing and production teams in the packaging industry
