Job Description:

Job Description: To lead and manage weld shop operations, ensuring production targets are achieved with high quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Responsible for end-to-end production planning, manpower management, process optimization, and continuous improvement in a BIW (Body-in-White) environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Experience: 10–15 years in automotive manufacturing (Weld Shop / BIW)

- Industry Preference: Automotive / Auto OEM / Auto Ancillary (BIW / Welding Operations)

- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Automobile)

- CTC: ₹9.0 to ₹10.0 LPA

- Location: Halol, Gujarat

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of welding technologies: Spot, MIG, TIG, Robotic Welding

- Expertise in BIW (Body-in-White) processes

- Knowledge of welding fixtures, GD&T;, and welding standards





- Familiarity with robots and automation (ABB / KUKA / FANUC)

- Understanding of PLC systems

- Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

- Problem-solving tools: Root Cause Analysis, 8D methodology

- Knowledge of quality tools and automotive standards

Computer Skills:

- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar)

- Basic understanding of production monitoring systems / automation interfaces

Other Skills:

- Good English communication

- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills

- Leadership and team management capability

- Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills
