Job Title: Plant Finance head

Location: Ahemdabad (Mehemdabad)

Reporting To: Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

n

Experience: 6 - 10 years

n

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

n

Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals / FMCG

n

Key Responsibilities

n

1. Manufacturing Finance

n

n
- Drive plant finance and manufacturing cost control.
n
- Monitor: COGS, Yield analysis, Batch costing, Inventory valuation, Variance analysis
n
- Partner with operations to improve manufacturing efficiencies and profitability.
n
- Review inventory controls, slow-moving inventory, and working capital optimization.
n

n

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

n

n
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
n
- Prepare MIS for Mgt and Board covering Plant KPI’s; conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
n
- Supporting CFO for investor presentations for Group; respond to investor queries and data requests.
n

n

n

3. Internal Controls & Governance

n





n
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance framework.
n
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, lead process automation and control improvements.
n

n

n

4. Treasury

n

n
- Monitor & Plan cash flow, liquidity and working capital (DSO, DPO, DIO).
n
- Support banking relationships and financing arrangements.
n

n

n

5. Business Partnering

n

n
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, sales, and commercial teams.
n
- Provide financial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
n
- Evaluate recent business opportunities, capital expenditure proposals, and investment decisions.
n

n

n

Technical Skills

n

- Knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting
n
- Budgeting and forecasting
n
- Internal financial controls
n
- Treasury operations
n
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

- Advanced Excel and Power BI preferred
