About Us
We are a service-based company operating in the staffing and career-services industry. We help students and job seekers in the United States secure jobs through our services, and we work directly with U.S.-based clients across multiple industries.
Position Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will own the complete client acquisition cycle for our U.S. market. You will bring in new clients from Linked In and other platforms, conduct meetings, explain our services, onboard clients, follow up consistently and close deals. This is a target-driven, client-facing role that requires working in U.S. time zones.
Roles and Duties
1. Client Acquisition: Identify and generate new business leads from Linked In, job boards, skilled groups, referrals and other online platforms.
2. Outreach: Connect with prospective clients through Linked In messages and InMails, cold calls, emails and social selling to build a healthy sales pipeline.
3. Meetings: Schedule and conduct discovery calls, virtual meetings and service presentations with U.S.-based decision makers.
4. Service Explanation: Make clients understand our staffing and student placement services, including our process, deliverables, pricing and the value we add, and handle questions and objections confidently.
5. Closing: Share proposals and service agreements, negotiate commercial terms and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
6. Onboarding: Onboard new clients end to end by collecting requirements, completing documentation, setting expectations and handing over smoothly to the recruitment and delivery team.
7. Follow-ups: Follow up consistently with warm and cold prospects until conversion and maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence.
8. CRM and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations,
meetings and deal stages in the CRM/ATS and share weekly pipeline and revenue reports.
9. Account Management: Build long-term relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business, upselling and referrals.
10. Coordination: Work closely with recruiters and the operations team so that service delivery matches what was committed to the client.
11. Market Research: Track U.S. hiring trends, competitor offerings and client feedback to sharpen our pitch and service positioning.
Shift: Aligned to U.S. business hours (EST/CST/PST) to support U.S.-based clients.
Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales or inside sales; experience with U.S. clients or in the staffing, recruitment or education-services industry is strongly preferred.
3. Proven ability to generate leads from Linked In (including Sales Navigator) and other online platforms and convert them into paying clients.
4. Excellent spoken and written English with clear, neutral pronunciation and strong presentation skills.
5. Confidence in conducting virtual meetings, service demos and negotiations with U.S. decision makers.
6. Strong negotiation, objection-handling and deal-closing skills with a consultative selling approach.
7. Hands-on experience with CRM/ATS tools, email outreach tools and MS Office / Google Workspace.
8. Disciplined follow-up habits, accurate pipeline tracking and good documentation skills.
9. Ability to explain a service offering simply and build trust with clients quickly.
10. Willingness to work in U.S. time zones and comfort with a target-based, incentive-driven role.
11. Self-motivated, coachable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good to Have: Prior exposure to U.S. staffing, OPT/CPT student placement services, or selling recruitment and career services to U.S. employers.
