Job Description: E&I; Engineer

Location: Pune / International sites

Experience: 5-10 years

Education: Diploma/BE - Electrical/Instrumentation

CTC: 8-12.50 LPA

With over four decades of experience and thousands of installations in more than 60 countries, they deliver cutting-edge engineering and advanced water treatment technologies.

Planning & Execution:

- Coordinate with project and site teams for smooth execution of commissioning activities.
- Plan and execute commissioning tasks in line with project schedules and technical requirements.

Commissioning Activities:

- Electrical Equipment: Commissioning of transformers, MCC panels, VFD panels, PLC panels, UPS, and battery systems.
- Cable Testing: Perform continuity testing, relay testing, meggar (insulation resistance) testing, hi-pot testing, no-load and full-load tests.
- Instrumentation: Installation, termination, calibration, loop checking,



and commissioning of field instruments.
- Water Treatment Systems:
- Pre-treatment: Clarifiers, DAF units, filters, etc.
- Ion Exchange Units: Cation, anion, mixed-bed polishers, softeners.
- Membrane Systems: RO, UF, MBR.
- Wastewater Systems: Thickeners, centrifuges, filter presses.
- Thermal Systems: Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE), ATFD, brine concentrators, deaerators, heat exchangers.
- Rotating Equipment: Pumps, blowers, mixers, including hot loop tests and performance runs.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain daily logs, site progress reports, and generate project status updates.
- Report abnormalities and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Prepare and compile commissioning documentation and reports for internal and client submission.

Independently Manage Sites:

- Handle commissioning responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Interact with clients and stakeholders at site to ensure satisfaction and smooth handover.

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with site safety protocols.
- Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices during commissioning.

Must-Have Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Pre-commissioning & commissioning of electrical panels (MCC, PLC, VFD, UPS).
- Instrumentation installation, termination, calibration, and commissioning.
- Cable testing procedures (continuity, meggar, hi-pot, load testing).
- Commissioning of membrane-based systems like RO, UF, and MBR.
- Working independently at site and handling customer-facing responsibilities.
- Preparing site reports and technical documentation.
