Position: Project Head – DRI Capacity: 350 TPD Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire project execution of a 350 TPD DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant from planning to commissioning.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for timely project execution.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety, and environmental norms.
- Monitor erection, installation, and commissioning activities of major equipment like kilns, coolers, ESP, pollution control systems, raw material handling, and waste heat recovery systems (WHRB).
- Drive procurement and contract management for project-related materials and services.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents.
- Ensure statutory approvals and liaison with government authorities as required.
- Lead a cross-functional project team and report project progress to management.
- Post-commissioning: ensure smooth handover to Operations Team with complete documentation.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical ).
- Minimum 20–30 years of experience in the steel industry with at least 15+ years in DRI plant project execution (350 TPD & above kilns).
- Proven track record of handling Greenfield / Brownfield projects in Sponge Iron / DRI.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools, safety standards, and cost control.

- Strong leadership and team management ability.
- Excellent coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of DRI plant technology and process.
- Ability to handle high-pressure project timelines.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
