Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Research Coverage: Track and analyse large, mid, and small-cap Indian equities (sector agnostic) through detailed financial and strategic analysis.
Report Writing: Prepare initiating coverage reports, thematic reports, quarterly earnings previews/reviews, sector updates, pitch books/decks, and event-driven notes.
Valuation Expertise: Apply valuation methodologies such as DCF, SOTP, and relative valuation for company analysis.
Client Interaction: Actively engage with buy-side analysts, fund managers, and institutional clients. Present stock ideas and research findings to help increase research votes and ratings.
Management Access & Due Diligence: Conduct primary research by interacting with company management, visiting plants, conducting dealer/employee/channel checks, and analysing market feedback.
Data Handling & Sector Files: Maintain and update sector files, manage key company/sector-specific data sets, and generate actionable insights from data analysis.
Client Presentations:
Prepare and deliver compelling quarterly presentations on top picks, sector outlooks, and stock strategies to institutional clients.
Team Leadership: Guide and manage junior analysts by assigning work, setting research timelines (TATs), reviewing output, and building team capabilities.
Con-Calls & Expert Sessions: Host conference calls with company management and arrange expert calls to enhance research quality and client servicing.
Qualifications: Post Graduate / MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (preferred) NISM Certification XV (Research Analyst) – Mandatory
