Machine Operation & Material Handling ○ Operate injection molding machines as per assigned production work orders. ○ Start, stop, and monitor machine cycles during production. ○ Load plastic granules into the hopper and inform the Shift Engineer in advance when the raw material is about to finish. ○ Ensure the correct material and color are used as per job instructions. ● Robotic & Automation Equipment Operation ○ Operate robotic arms and automation equipment on the production line in accordance with the assigned production plan. ○ Ensure correct program selection and protected operation of robotic systems during production. ● Quality Inspection ○ Inspect molded parts for defects such as short shot, flash, burn marks, sink marks, and color variation. ○ Ensure output parts meet defined quality standards. ○ Immediately report quality abnormalities to the Supervisor or Shift In-Charge. ● Machine Monitoring & Breakdown Reporting ○ Continuously monitor machine performance during production. ○ Identify abnormal machine sounds, oil leakage, temperature issues, or cycle irregularities. ○ Inform the maintenance team or the Shift Engineer immediately in case of a breakdown or abnormal conditions. ● Material Loading & Dispatch Support (Gadi Loading) ○ Load molded parts into containers or transport vehicles (Tempo / Eicher) as per size and material type.
○ Ensure correct segregation of parts by size and material during loading. ○ Handle products carefully to avoid damage and mixing of different items. ● Production Records & Documentation ○ Maintain daily production records, including ■ Output quantity ■ Rejection quantity ■ Machine downtime ■ Material consumption ○ Ensure records are filled accurately and submitted to the Supervisor. ● Safety , 5S & SOP Compliance ○ Follow all safety rules and use required PPE (gloves, shoes, etc.). ○ Maintain the cleanliness of the machine and the surrounding work area (5S practices). ○ Follow company SOPs related to machine operation, material handling, and quality control. What Makes You a Fit Educational Qualification ● Bachelor's Degree / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic Technology, or related field (preferred) ● Basic reading and writing ability is mandatory for record-keeping. Skills ● Basic knowledge of injection molding machines and shop floor operations. ● Ability to identify visual defects in molded parts. ● Understanding of basic production discipline and quality requirements. ● Good communication skills; ability to work in teams, train others. ● Willingness to work hands-on when needed, and possibly extended hours/shifts depending on production demands. ● Willingness to work in rotational shifts. ● Physically fit for standing work and material handling.
