Desired Profile of
Candidates

 Should have working experience with exposure to IT Systems with complex business
processes, and planning for functional testing, impact analysis of changes, and regression
testing
 Should have experience in understanding business requirements, functional specifications
 Need to be well versed with Life Insurance Domain (knowledge of New business, Policy
servicing, Claim Settlement etc.)
 Should have Knowledge on Insurance Workflow System
 Proficient to create Test Scenarios & Test cases basis of BRD / FSD documentation
 Should have Core Application Knowledge of Life Asia (AS400) / Ingenium / Elixir
 Proficient in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix for Tests designed
 Need to capable in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix for Tests designed
 Should have knowledge in Creating or updating Test
 Need to be proficient in Performing SIT & UAT Test Execution
 Should report Defects & follow up with Developers / BA IT for defect fixation with defect
ageing tracking SLA
 Should have good verbal and written communication skills along with strong Logical thinking
 Must be a positive learner and self-starter, and also a team player
 Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites

Testing skills





 Should have in depth understanding of software testing
 Should be able to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from the same
 Should be proactive in test cases execution, defect discussion, defect logging, risk
identification and mitigation
 Proficient in Writing SQL queries
 Should have hands on experience on Test Management (like Quality Center) and Defect
Management tools like (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
 Must have Knowledge of databases and running of basic SQL queries

Key Result Area (KRA)

 Conduct independent system testing for changes to the application, understanding life
insurance business process, the package application, and the Business Requirements and
Functional Specifications.
 Design test cases including expected outputs from the Business Requirements and Functional
to ensure maximum coverage, to emulate user interaction in the production environment
 Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results
 Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and
fixed and help in UAT support to users
 Review and provide input on Business Requirement and Functional Specification documents
