Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced with expertise in Solar PV projects t lead our team in overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of solar photovoltaic projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy project management, with a focus on solar PV installations and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the solar PV industry, with a robust emphasis on project execution. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale solar PV projects, including design, installation, and commissioning phases.
Work location: Pune

Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Management:
Lead the planning and execution of solar PV projects from conception t completion.
Develop project scopes, objectives, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, t achieve project milestones.

2. Budget and Cost Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project finances t maximise profitability.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure adherence t quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout project life-cycle.




Conduct regular inspections and quality checks t maintain high standards of project delivery.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, finance) t optimise project outcomes.
Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

5. Risk Management:
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies t minimise potential disruptions.
Proactively address issues and challenges that may impact project timelines or outcomes.

6. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers and project support staff.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting professional growth and development.

7. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present project progress reports t senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.

Personal skills:
Knowledge of solar PV technologies, equipment, and industry standards.
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability t effectively prioritise and delegate tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability t collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable.
Experience with project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
