Job Description: Quality Control Officer

Position Title: Quality Control Officer
Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Quality Assurance / Production
Reports To: Quality Manager / Plant Manager
Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine and non-routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.

- Document test results accurately and maintain quality records.

- Investigate and report any deviations or non-conformances.

- Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues.

- Support validation and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.





- Participate in internal audits and assist in external inspections.

- Review and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

- Implement quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis (RCA).

- Report quality trends and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or related field.

- 2+ years of experience in quality control or a similar role in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.

- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and quality testing procedures.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
