Job Description:

Job Title: Design & Development Manager

Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience
- 3–6 years experience in Product Design, Research & Development, or Manufacturing.

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Experience with FEA software like Ansys or Abaqus.

- Understanding of mould design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

- Knowledge of machine design and mechanisms.

Quality & Process Knowledge
- Understanding of DFMEA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and ISO documentation.

- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities
- New Product Development (NPD): Design and develop current products and conduct testing.

- Trials & Testing: Perform trials for new moulds and products.

- Coordination: Work with mold makers, factory production teams, and head office.

- Product Improvement: Improve existing product quality and upgrade designs.

- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare technical and feasibility reports and ensure ISO standards.
