IBM Data Power Consultant / Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM Data Power Consultant to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise API gateway and integration solutions using IBM Data Power Gateway. The ideal candidate should possess robust expertise in API security, Data Power services, XSLT/Gateway Script development, SSL/TLS implementation, and integration with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement IBM Data Power Gateway solutions.
- Configure and manage Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy (WSP), XML Firewall, and AAA policies.
- Develop transformations using XSLT, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST APIs, and Gateway Script.
- Implement API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, SAML, LDAP, and certificate management.




- Perform Data Power configuration, deployment, migration, upgrades, and firmware patching.
- Troubleshoot Data Power, API Connect, MQ, and integration-related production issues.
- Configure logging, monitoring, load balancing, and traffic management policies.
- Collaborate with application, security, network, and middleware teams for solution delivery.
- Support incident, change, and problem management activities.
- Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
