Overview:

- Position Title: Senior Specialist – App/Prod Support
- Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
- Shift: 24 x 7 Rotational Shift

We are seeking a skilled Operations Resource to join our production support team. This key role involves managing and supporting Linux environments, server setups, application and database server monitoring, and automation through scripting and pipeline management.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Azure cloud, Linux server configuration, Jenkins scripting, and SSL certificate management, along with excellent troubleshooting capabilities. This position requires working in rotational shifts to ensure uninterrupted production support.

Responsibilities:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage server setup and configuration in Linux and Windows environments.
- Handle Azure subscriptions and maintain Batch Jobs/Triage Batch Issues.
- Configure and maintain web servers such as Tomcat and IIS.
- Manage SSL certificates including installation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins scripts and pipelines for automated code build and deployment.
- Oversee encryption and decryption key management for secure data handling.
- Monitor production batch jobs, schedule, and automate workflows to ensure smooth operations.
- Detect, monitor, and provide initial triage for production issues across web, application, and database servers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate code migration processes (DSO Process).
- Utilize ticketing tools like BMC or Service Now for issue tracking and resolution.




- Participate in shift-based support rotations ensuring 24x7 availability for production support.

Requirements:

Primary / Mandatory Skills:

- Solid proficiency in shell scripting (Unix/Linux).
- Knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and subscription management.
- Hands-on experience configuring Linux servers, Tomcat, and IIS web servers.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database query and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in SSL certificate management.

Additional / Desired Skills:

- Exposure to code scanning and dynamic security scanning tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GIT and build tools like Maven.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications and servers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to Oracle Database administration or support is a plus.
