- Lead and partner material planning for import purchases.
- Manage local and Import purchases from product specific suppliers
- Create import sourcing reports and documentation.
- Co-ordinate with the Custom house agents and other regulatory bodies to ensure on time import and custom clearance
- Manage documentation and Bill of Entry on behalf of all factories
- Import costing and benchmarking
- Local and International logistics management
- LC generation and take care of all payment options on Import
- Awareness of latest Customs and Regulatory trends
- Valuable Knowledge of Vendor Development & vendor Approval Process.
- Candidate will be responsible for Imports and Logistics activities within the Procurement Department including Import planning, Import Purchase, Custom Clearing, getting material into warehouses and factories, documentation as per standard operating procedures.
