Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and administer BMC Helix HAM and SAM modules.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of hardware and software assets, from procurement to retirement.
- Configure and maintain asset classes, product catalogs, software license models, and asset relationships.
- Integrate BMC Helix with CMDB, Discovery, procurement, and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor software license usage, ensure compliance, and optimize software asset utilization.
- Perform data reconciliation, asset audits, and maintain asset accuracy.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to asset management and compliance.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide L2/L3 support for HAM/SAM environments.
- Collaborate with IT operations, procurement, security,



and infrastructure teams to improve ITAM processes.
- Create technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with BMC Helix HAM/SAM or BMC Remedy Asset Management.
- Solid knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes.
- Experience with BMC CMDB, BMC Discovery, and ITSM integrations.
- Understanding of software licensing models, software compliance, and asset lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT Asset Management best practices.
- Experience with REST APIs, data imports, and system integrations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
