Description : Job Title : Simulator Engineer AI AcceleratorLocation : Bangalore, IndiaExperience : 1220 YearsDomain : AI Accelerators / SemiconductorJob Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Simulator Engineer to join our AI Accelerator team in Bangalore. The role focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-fidelity simulators for next-generation AI accelerator architectures. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, enabling architecture exploration, performance analysis, and system validation in close collaboration with globally distributed teams.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain cycle-accurate and/or functional simulators for AI accelerator architectures.- Collaborate with hardware architects and software teams to model HWSW interactions and system behaviour.- Debug and resolve complex issues across software and hardware layers.- Optimize simulator performance, scalability, and accuracy.- Support architectural exploration, performance analysis,
and design trade-off studies.- Contribute to validation of SoC-level designs and HWSW flows.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.Qualifications : - BSc or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.- 1220 years of industry experience in system simulation, architecture, or related domains.- Strong hands-on experience with contemporary C++ and object-oriented design principles.- Solid understanding of hardwaresoftware co-design and HWSW flows.- Proven experience in debugging and performance optimization across software and hardware layers.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams.Strong Advantage : - In-depth knowledge of SoC architecture and micro-architecture.- Experience in hardware and/or performance modeling, analysis, and debugging.- Hands-on experience with modeling frameworks such as SystemC, TLM, or similar technologies.- Exposure to AI accelerator architectures or high-performance computing systems.
