Electrical Engineers – Transmission Line & Substation

Location: Kutch, Gujarat

Contract: 1 Years

PROJECT DETAILS

Transmission Line (TL) – 765 kV, 250 km (3 EPC Packages)

- 765 kV Double Circuit (D/C) Transmission Line of 250 km.

- Route: Kutch 765/400 kV Z2-MPSS to 765/400 kV Load Pooling Substation (LPSS).

- Executed through 3 EPC contractors.

- Scope includes erection and installation of electrical systems, HV conductors, insulators, protection systems, and commissioning support.

Substation (SS) – MPS 400 kV & 765 kV (Main Pooling Station)

- 765/400 kV Main Pooling Station (Z2-MPSS) at Kutch.

- Aggregates power from multiple 400 kV Sub-Pooling Stations (SPSS).

- Scope includes installation, testing, and commissioning of transformers, switchgear, protection systems, relays, busbars, and control systems.

- Coordination with civil, mechanical, and planning teams to ensure smooth execution.

Job requirements





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise and support all electrical works at site for TL or Substation.

- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HV equipment.

- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, project drawings, and standards.

- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and planning teams for smooth execution.

- Assist in site inspections, quality checks, and issue resolution.

- Maintain records, reports, and documentation as required by PMC and client.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education: BE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 8–10 years in Transmission Line or Substation electrical works

Experience in 400 kV / 765 kV projects preferred
