We are seeking a Female Barista/Kitchen Helper to join our team in a busy coffee shop in Oman. The ideal candidate should have experience working in cafes, with skills in preparing beverages and assisting with dessert preparation. This is a dual role involving both customer-facing tasks and back-of-house support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist pastry chefs in dessert preparation and basic kitchen duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Provide friendly and productive customer service at the counter when needed.
- Support daily opening and closing procedures of the café.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Barista or Kitchen Helper, preferably in a café or dessert shop.
- Hands-on experience in beverage preparation and assisting in dessert making is highly preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred nationality: Philippine, though other nationalities are welcome.
Employment Terms:
- Salary: OMR 160 – 250 per month (based on experience)
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
- Overtime: As per company policy
- Contract Period: 2 years, renewable
