About the Role
We
are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java,
Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will have a
solid track record of building scalable, high-performance applications and a
passion for problem-solving. This role requires hands-on backend development
while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable,
production-grade systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design,
develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8, Spring Boot,
and Microservices architecture.
- Work
with AWS services (including Lambda) to build and deploy
cloud-native solutions.
- Implement event-driven architecture and real-time processing using Kafka.
- Collaborate
with frontend engineers (JavaScript) to ensure seamless integration and
end-to-end functionality.
- Ensure
applications meet high standards of scalability, security,
and
performance.
- Participate
in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Work
closely with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features
within deadlines.
- Stay
updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance
system reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Robust
programming skills in Java 8 with solid understanding of OOP
principles.
- Proven
experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on
experience with AWS (including Lambda) for cloud-based deployments.
- Expertise
in Kafka for building event-driven systems.
- Working
knowledge of JavaScript for backend–frontend integration.
- Strong
problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Good
understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD,
testing, and version control (Git).
- Excellent
communication and collaboration skills.
