Role Description The Academic Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, offering a salary range of 35k to 45k plus incentives.

The Academic

Counsellor will guide students through academic and career options, conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, and help learners make informed decisions about courses, institutions, and career paths. Daily responsibilities include assessing student needs, providing academic advising, maintaining accurate counseling records, and following up with students to monitor progress. The role also involves collaborating with educational partners, organizing information sessions or workshops, and communicating clearly with students and families to explain programs, admission processes, and requirements.

Counsellor is expected to meet counseling targets, contribute to student enrollment goals, and uphold a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners.

Qualifications





Candidates should possess skills in Student Counseling and Academic Advising to support learners in their educational journey.

Candidates should possess skills in Career Counseling and Education to guide students toward suitable academic and qualified paths.

Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including transparent verbal and written communication with students, families, and stakeholders.

Relevant experience in academic or career counseling, education services, or student support roles is highly beneficial.

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work with diverse student populations, maintain confidentiality, and use basic computer and CRM tools effectively.

Robust interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a goal-oriented mindset to achieve counseling and enrollment targets.
