Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Role Summary
Responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising Fire Alarm and Life Safety systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and review fire alarm, emergency lighting, VE/PA, and life safety systems.
Prepare drawings, layouts, riser diagrams, and calculations.
Manage authority submissions and technical approvals.
Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning.
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and clients.
Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years in Fire Alarm & Life Safety consultancy.
Robust knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 72, and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
Experience with UAE authority approvals.
AutoCAD proficiency (Revit is an advantage).
CFPS certification is an added advantage.
