Job Description – Senior Accountant

Company Overview

SLMB Ventures LLP, a Franchisee of Kalyan Jewellers Ltd, is engaged in retail operations with a strong focus on financial discipline, compliance, and operational excellence. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and strengthen our finance function.

Role Overview

This is a full time, on-site position based in Dhenkanal. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting management with financial insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Perform bank, ledger, and inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

• Handle GST, TDS,



and other applicable statutory filings and documentation

• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities

• Conduct financial analysis and provide reports to management as required

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams during audits and reviews

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing of accounts

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation

• Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel (mandatory)

• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems

• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements independently

• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
