Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and execute sales strategies for API products in the Indian regulated pharmaceutical market.
Identify, acquire, and manage key customers, including leading pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with procurement, sourcing, and technical teams of client organizations.
Generate current business opportunities and expand the existing customer portfolio.
Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, contract finalization, and order closures.
Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and demand forecasts to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic MIS reports for management review.
Ensure timely collections and monitor customer credit limits.
Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions,



and customer meetings.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
8–15 years of experience in API sales/business development within the Indian regulated pharmaceutical market.
Robust understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements, and API business dynamics.
Established network with formulation companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers across India.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
