Position: Store Assistant

Experience: 2–5 Years (Electrical Panel Manufacturing/Industrial Automation Preferred)

Job Summary

The Store Assistant is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of electrical and automation materials. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely material availability for production, and proper housekeeping of the store.

Key Responsibilities

Material Receipt
Receive materials from suppliers and verify them against the Purchase Order, Delivery Challan, and Invoice.
Assist in unloading, counting, and inspecting incoming materials.
Inform the GRN/Quality team about any shortages, damages, or incorrect materials.

Material Storage
Store materials in designated locations with proper identification labels.
Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Ensure proper handling of sensitive electrical and electronic components.

Material Issue
Issue materials to production as per the approved Material Requisition Slip (MRS).
Record all material issues accurately in the ERP/Store register.
Ensure traceability of issued materials.

Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock records.
Support daily,



monthly, and annual stock verification.
Report low-stock, excess, and non-moving items to the Store Incharge.
Help maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels.

Documentation
Maintain inward, outward, and stock registers.
Label and identify materials with correct item codes.
Assist in maintaining serial number records for critical items.

Housekeeping & Safety
Keep the store clean, organized, and protected.
Follow 5S practices and company safety procedures.
Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials.

Skills Required
Knowledge of store operations and inventory management.
Basic understanding of electrical and automation components.
Familiarity with ERP/Zoho Inventory/Tally or similar software.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word).
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification
ITI/Diploma/Graduate in any discipline.
2–5 years of experience in stores or warehouse operations.

Preferred Experience
Electrical control panel manufacturing.
Industrial automation products (PLC, HMI, VFD, MCCBs, MCBs, relays, terminals, cables, etc.).
Immediate joiner preferred.
