Role & responsibilities
Manage end-to-end DME Billing operations and ensure achievement of productivity,
quality, and financial targets.
Lead multiple teams handling billing, AR follow-up, denial management, payment
posting, and appeals.
Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure timely claim submission and maximize collections through effective AR
management.
Analyze operational performance and implement corrective action plans.Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leads and billing specialists.
Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and team productivity.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and succession planning.
Foster a high-performance and employee-centric work culture.
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and support client
interactions.
Present operational reviews, performance reports, and improvement plans.
Ensure adherence to client SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Training, HR, and
Reporting.
Revenue Cycle Management
Drive initiatives to improve collections and reduce denials.
Monitor AR aging and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and commercial payer
regulations.
Review root causes of denials and implement preventive measures.
Process Excellence
Identify automation and process improvement prospects.
Participate in transition and migration projects, if applicable.
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.
Ensure standardization of processes and best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in any discipline
Preferred: MBA, PGDM, Healthcare Management, or related qualification
Certifications in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management will be an added
advantage
812 years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in DME Billing operations.
At least 2 years of experience managing Team Leads and large operational teams.
Experience managing teams of 35–85+ FTEs.
Solid understanding of DME workflows, payer guidelines, and reimbursement
processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
Proven track record of improving operational performance and revenue outcomes.
