Role description
Robust hands-on experience with OpenGL, Vulkan, and Multimedia on Ubuntu/Yocto OS, and custom Linux/Android environments.
Proficiency in I/O drivers: I2C, UART, GPIO, SPI, SMBus.
Familiarity with Ethernet protocols, Automotive feature validation, and x86 architecture.
Experience in test development, triage workflows, and debugging.
Robust communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Validate graphics drivers across Multimedia, Graphics APIs, Power Management, I/O, and Ethernet on Linux/Yocto.
Execute and refine test plans based on program milestones.
Design and maintain comprehensive test cases ensuring functional and non-functional coverage.
Perform memory leak, stress, and soak testing using bounding box methodologies.
Collaborate with development teams on defect lifecycle, providing transparent and actionable bug reports.
Work with automation teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
Validate automotive-specific features and Ethernet interfaces.
Debug issues using Python or Shell scripting.
Automate manual test cases using Shell/Python.
