We are Hiring Accountant for an Jewellery store in chennai

Key Responsibilities
Record cash, card, UPI, and bank transfer transactions.
Generate accurate GST invoices and customer bills.
Reconcile daily cash collections, bank statements, and cash drawers.
Maintain general ledgers, journals, and daybooks.
Monitor inventory records and stock movements.
Verify physical stock with system inventory during stock audits.
Record old gold exchange values, melting charges, and making charges.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
Manage TDS compliance and vendor payments.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Ensure accurate financial records and statutory compliance.

Required Skills
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime
Robust knowledge of GST
Experience in Income Tax (IT) Returns
Valuable accounting, reconciliation, and reporting skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Salary based on experience
