An Auto STP Operator (often called an Automatic Stamping/Transfer Press Operator, depending on the company) is responsible for operating automated production machines in manufacturing plants, especially in the automotive, metal, or engineering industries.

Typical responsibilities include
Setting up and operating the automatic STP machine according to production requirements.
Loading raw materials into the machine.
Monitoring machine performance during operation.
Inspecting finished parts for quality and dimensions.
Recording production data and reporting defects or machine issues.
Performing basic machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE).




Coordinating with supervisors and maintenance technicians if breakdowns occur.

Required skills
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read work instructions or production drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers or gauges (in some roles).
Attention to detail for quality inspection.
Willingness to work in shifts.

Educational qualification
Typically 10th/12th pass, ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, etc.), or Diploma depending on the employer

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
