Role Description The Autocad Draftsman will work on-site in Mumbai in a full time capacity, creating accurate technical drawings and detailed plans for architectural and interior design projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and revising AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation based on design specifications and markups from architects and designers.
The role involves coordinating with the project team to clarify requirements, ensuring drawings comply with standards and local regulations, and maintaining organized drawing files and documentation.
The Autocad
Draftsman will also support the BIM and 3D visualization teams by providing accurate 2D drawings and contributing to design reviews and quality checks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for design and construction documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings and Architecture for translating design concepts into practical plans.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing Shop Drawings for joinery, interiors, and construction details.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (and preferably other CAD/BIM tools such as Revit) and familiarity with industry drawing standards.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related technical field.
Experience working with architectural or interior design firms, preferably in an on-site setting.
Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret sketches and specifications, and capacity to meet project deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams.
