Key Responsibilities
Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising day-to-day construction activities across the project.
Monitor construction progress to ensure activities are completed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and contractual requirements.
Supervise construction of water supply components including WTPs, intake structures, pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines, valve chambers, and associated infrastructure.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, design teams, and client representatives to resolve site-related technical and construction issues.
Review work programs, construction methodologies, resource deployment, and progress reports submitted by contractors.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures and Health, Safety & Setting (HSE) requirements.
Verify measurements,



work quantities, inspection requests, and contractor billing documents.
Participate in site inspections, progress review meetings, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
Identify construction risks, delays, and constraints, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Maintain daily site records, progress reports, photographs, and project documentation.
Assist during testing, commissioning, trial runs, defect rectification, and project handover activities.
Support the Construction Manager in contract administration and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
