Role Description This is a full time, on-site Autocad Draftsman role based in Kolkata.

The Autocad

Draftsman will prepare and revise technical drawings and detailed layouts for civil, structural, and electrical components related to substations, transmission lines, and industrial projects. Daily responsibilities include creating shop drawings and construction drawings, interpreting engineering sketches and specifications, coordinating with design engineers to resolve drawing issues,



and ensuring that all drawings align with project standards and international codes. The role also involves maintaining organized drawing files, updating drawings based on review comments, and supporting project documentation throughout the design and execution phases.

Qualifications

Robust command of Technical Drawing and Drawing, with the ability to translate engineering concepts into precise CAD drawings.

Experience preparing Shop Drawings for civil, structural, and electrical works in infrastructure or industrial projects.

Ability to produce clear and accurate Architectural Drawings aligned with project requirements and standards.

Understanding of Architecture fundamentals to interpret plans, sections, and elevations effectively.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.

Previous experience as a draftsman in substation, transmission line, or industrial power projects preferred.

Attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a project-driven environment.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
