Role & responsibilities
Develop, review, and validate signalling design documents including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), Interlocking (IXL) designs, track bonding plans, and control tables.
Manage technical interfaces between signalling systems, Rolling Stock, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Telecommunications, and trackside equipment.
Ensure compliance with SIL-4 safety requirements and RAMS targets throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with General Consultants (GCs), Design-Build Contractors, Metro Authorities, and project stakeholders for design approvals and technical clarifications.
Support test procedures, signalling data preparation, verification activities, and commissioning of mainline and depot signalling systems.
Assist in managing engineering deliverables, design reviews, and technical issue resolution.
Preferred candidate profile
1520+ years of experience in Railway/Metro Signalling projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CBTC, Electronic Interlocking (EI), or interlocking design management.
Experience in Urban Rail or Metro Railway projects is preferred.
