Key Responsibilities

Platform & Backend Systems

● Build scalable event-driven backend systems.

● Design APIs and services powering real-time communication workflows.

● Develop low-latency backend services and orchestration engines.

● Build systems for triggers, scheduling, retries, workflows, and event processing.

● Optimize backend infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.

AI & Personalization Infrastructure

● Build backend foundations for AI-powered customer experiences.

● Develop experimentation, personalization, segmentation, and ranking systems.

● Integrate AI/ML models into production workflows.

● Contribute to intelligent decisioning and recommendation systems.

Data & Infrastructure

● Build real-time event ingestion and processing pipelines.

● Work with streaming platforms and distributed messaging systems.

● Develop user context and state-management systems.

● Improve monitoring, observability, logging, and fault tolerance.

● Build analytics and attribution pipelines.

Engineering & Product Execution





● Work closely with founders on product and architecture decisions.

● Participate in system design and technical problem-solving.

● Ship high-quality features rapidly with end-to-end ownership.

● Continuously improve engineering standards and platform performance

Hands-on experience with:

● REST APIs

● Distributed Systems

● Event-driven Architecture

● Message Queues

● Databases

● Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred)

Experience working with

● MongoDB / DynamoDB / Redis

● Kafka / AWS Kinesis / PubSub

● AWS Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, SQS

● Microservices Architecture

Valuable-to-Have

● Experience with AI/ML systems.

● Personalization or recommendation engines.

● Communication platforms (WhatsApp, Email, Push Notifications, SMS).

● Startup or 0→1 product-building experience.
