We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Agriculture Fertilizer Sales Executive to promote and sell fertilizers, plant nutrition products, bio-fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs. The candidate will be responsible for developing the dealer network, generating sales, building strong relationships with farmers, and achieving monthly sales targets within the assigned territory.
Role & responsibilities
Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network.
Regularly visit dealers, retailers, and farmers in the assigned territory.
Promote fertilizers, specialty nutrients, bio-fertilizers, and crop nutrition products.
Conduct farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and field trials.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.
Collect payments and ensure timely recovery from customers.
Maintain solid customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
Monitor competitor activities and submit market intelligence reports.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Coordinate with the marketing and technical teams for promotional activities.
Ensure effective product availability across the assigned territory.
Preferred candidate profile
B.Sc. Agriculture preferred or any graduate with relevant experience.
Experience in dealer/distributor development.
Positive understanding of local agricultural practices and crops.
Ability to conduct product demonstrations and farmer awareness programs.
Skills
Robust sales and negotiation skills.
Good communication.
Knowledge of fertilizer and agricultural products.
Willing to travel extensively.
