We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Consultant / DevOps Engineer on a project basis to review and optimize our AWS infrastructure.

Project

Objective The primary goal is to reduce AWS infrastructure costs while ensuring the workplace is secure, reliable, and performs efficiently. Scope of Work The consultant will be expected to:

Conduct a comprehensive audit of our AWS account and infrastructure.

Identify opportunities for cost optimization (unused resources, rightsizing, reserved instances/savings plans, storage optimization, etc.).

Review and recommend improvements for security (IAM policies, access controls, security groups, encryption, logging, best practices).

Analyze performance and scalability of current workloads and suggest improvements where applicable.

Review backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery setup.

Provide a detailed report with findings, recommendations, estimated savings, and implementation plan.

Implement approved optimizations with minimal or zero downtime.

Share documentation of all changes made and knowledge transfer upon project completion.

Required Skills & Experience





Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (minimum 5+ years preferred).

Proven track record of AWS cost optimization projects with measurable savings.

Expertise in EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Load Balancers, Route 53, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, and related AWS services.

Good understanding of AWS security best practices and Well-Architected Framework.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting.

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer / SysOps) are preferred.
