The platform helps students evaluate their readiness for the job market, identify key skills, and connect skill-building opportunities directly to their academic curriculum.

Using insights from over 2 crore job postings, ELCARREIRA has mapped critical industry skills to specific subjects and highlighted common skill gaps. The team is driven by a mission to make career preparation more data-driven, accessible, and aligned with real-world employer needs.

Role Description As a Business Development Intern at ELCARREIRA TECHNOLOGIES, you will support initiatives that expand the platform’s reach among educational institutions, partners, and student communities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying and qualifying leads, assisting in outreach campaigns, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in CRM tools.

You will collaborate with internal teams to understand product offerings, prepare presentations, and participate in meetings and calls with prospective partners. This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru,



where you will work closely with the founding team and gain exposure to early-stage startup operations.

Qualifications
Robust Analytical Skills and ability to interpret data for market insights and lead prioritization.
Effective Communication skills, including explicit written and verbal interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead Generation capabilities and familiarity with prospecting techniques for B2B or education-focused markets.
Market Research experience, including gathering and synthesizing information about competitors, trends, and customer needs.
Customer Service orientation, with the ability to handle queries professionally and support relationship-building efforts.
Interest in AI, EdTech, or student employability solutions; prior exposure to startups is an advantage.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or lead tracking tools) and willingness to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
