About the Role

Universal Corporation Limited is seeking a agile and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive growth across e-commerce marketplaces and digital sales channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding online business prospects, managing marketplace relationships, identifying new revenue streams, and supporting the company's digital growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
Manage relationships with key marketplace partners and online retailers.
Drive sales growth through strategic planning, promotions, and business development initiatives.
Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless execution.
Monitor marketplace performance, pricing, inventory, and product visibility.
Analyze sales data, customer trends,



and competitor activities to recommend growth strategies.
Negotiate commercial terms with business partners and marketplace representatives.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance presentations.
Support new product launches and digital marketing campaigns across e-commerce channels.
Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in business development, e-commerce, or marketplace management.
Experience with major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, JioMart, Myntra, or similar marketplaces is preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and performance data.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
