We are seeking a creative and experienced Rug Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in rug and carpet design, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for aesthetics and global design trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Design new collections of rugs and carpets aligned with market trends and buyer preferences
Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts
Create production-ready designs using design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics, etc.)
Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
Modify and revise designs based on feedback from clients and teams
Stay updated on global design trends,
textures, and techniques
Communicate ideas effectively to internal teams and international buyers
Requirements:
3–6 years of proven experience in rug/carpetdesign (preferably in export-focused companies)
Robust understanding of weaves, textures, yarns, and production methods
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, or equivalent)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Robust attention to detail and time management
