Role & responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safety management systems.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws, regulations, and client requirements.
Lead safety planning for building construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Monitor work permit systems for high-risk activities.
Organize safety induction, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
Ensure proper usage of PPE and compliance with protected work practices.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, mock drills, and evacuation procedures.
Review contractor safety performance and ensure HSE compliance.
Prepare and submit HSE reports, KPIs, and statutory documentation.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities on safety matters.
Lead and mentor the site safety team to achieve project safety objective
