City Head – Roles & Responsibilities
Operations Management
Manage end-to-end city logistics operations.
Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and service quality.
Monitor daily operational KPIs and improve efficiency.
Business Development
Identify prospects to expand business within the city.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
Drive revenue growth and achieve city-wise business targets.
Team Leadership
Lead and manage operations, sales, and support teams.
Recruit, train, and mentor employees.
Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure team productivity.
Fleet & Vendor Management
Manage fleet utilization and transportation partners.
Ensure vehicle availability and operational readiness.
Negotiate and maintain relationships with logistics vendors.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
Financial Management
Manage the city's operational budget.
Control costs while maintaining service quality.
Monitor profitability and prepare financial reports.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
Maintain safety standards across operations.




Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Performance Monitoring
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Order fulfillment rate
Fleet utilization
Cost per delivery
Customer satisfaction
Prepare and present MIS reports to senior management.
Process Improvement
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning
Develop city-level business strategies aligned with company objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
Plan capacity expansion and resource allocation.
