Purpose/Objective To ensure reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of battery cell manufacturing equipment.

The role is responsible for maximizing machine uptime, reducing breakdowns, and ensuring secure and effective operation of highly automated cell production lines.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Maintenance Operations - Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for cell manufacturing equipment.
Ensure maximum equipment availability and production uptime.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of machine breakdowns.
Monitor machine health and identify potential failures before occurrence. Equipment Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot equipment related to:
Electrode Mixing Systems - Coating & Drying Machines - Calendaring Machines - Slitting Machines - Notching Machines - Stacking/Winding Machines - Electrolyte Filling Systems - Formation & Aging Equipment - Cell Assembly Lines - AGVs and Material Handling Systems Reliability & Continuous Improvement - Analyze recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.




Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
Improve equipment reliability, OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
Support process optimization and automation enhancement projects. Safety & Compliance - Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and statutory requirements.
Follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures during maintenance activities.
Maintain proper maintenance records and documentation.
Support quality and EHS audits. Spare Parts Management - Monitor spare parts inventory and critical equipment consumables.
Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely availability of spares.
Maintain equipment maintenance history and records.
