Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze product costing sheets (raw materials, packing materials, labor, overheads).
Monitor and control production costs and identify cost-saving prospects.
Maintain accurate BOM (Bill of Materials) and update pricing regularly.
Calculate standard cost vs actual cost variance and report deviations.
Work closely with the production, purchase, and sales departments for cost planning.
Analyze raw material price fluctuations and suggest pricing revisions.
Assist in preparing pricing strategy for distributors and retailers.
Maintain stock valuation and coordinate with the accounts team.
Prepare monthly cost reports and MIS reports for management.
Ensure proper documentation and internal cost control procedures.
